Welcome to Cliffe Playing Field Association
Cliffe Playing Field Association (CPFA) is a registered charity responsible for the management and maintenance of the village playing fields in Cliffe, North Yorkshire.
The playing fields are a valuable community asset providing recreational space for local residents of all ages. The site includes a children’s play area, football facilities, changing rooms, open green space, and is home to both Cliffe Football Club and Cliffe Tennis Club.
The playing fields were purchased in 1960 by local residents and community organisations and have been held in trust ever since for the benefit of the people of Cliffe. More than sixty years later, CPFA continues that tradition, ensuring that the facilities remain available for sport, recreation and community activities.
Our committee is made up entirely of volunteers who give their time to oversee the maintenance, development and future of the playing fields. From organising repairs and improvements to arranging fundraising events, the committee works to ensure that the playing fields remain a safe, welcoming and sustainable facility for future generations.
Whether you’re visiting the playground, playing football, attending one of our fundraising events or simply enjoying the open space, we hope you enjoy everything the playing fields have to offer.
